Description

Particolor sapphires from the Missouri River deposit are always color change stones . This one changes color but not quite enough to call it a full color change. The really fun feature here is the inclusions set — it’s a spangle-like growth plate across the center of the stone that when the light hits it just right, flashes like a sunburst or maybe stylized nova. I designed the stone to highlight the feature — completely unique stone.
